“Wheeler’s sweeping suite on the life of fashion designer Coco Chanel was eruditely composed and splendidly executed by the expanded consort ensemble — a pleasure from beginning to end… the words are largely inspired by her, and elegantly refined by Wheeler.”

Scott Wheeler is an award-winning composer, conductor, pianist, teacher and writer. Best known for his operas and vocal music, he has also gained wide recognition as a composer of symphonies, concertos, chamber works, solo piano music and ballet.
